„Understanding the Mý of Mývatn:

How flies change the land”

Profs. Claudio Gratton and Randy Jackson

University of Wisconsin – Madison

What makes Mývatn special? The midges of course! At least that is what researchers from the University of Wisconsin think. They have been working at the Mývatn Research Station since 2008 to understand how these little insects affect the land beyond the lake. Learn about midges, the things that eat them, and what happens when they die on land.

The talk will be in English.
